The gems I use are all genuine unaltered sea glass. Discovered on local beaches, then mounted as found to highlight their natural beauty.
Where possible I am endeavouring to use as much recycled silver as possible. Sadly its high price would exclude many sea glass lovers from enjoying such lovely jewellery. A very tricky dilemma.
Shingle Shed can never claim to be 100% eco, green or carbon neutral. We just try to do our bit, from recycled gift boxes to repurposed displays and building a solar powered studio from reclaimed timber.
